YES Network Pakistan has started “Be your own Boss” program to assist young people in becoming changemakers, turning their dreams into reality, helping young people to think big and assisting young people to become self-reliant and contribution members of the society.

Under this program, YES Network Pakistan provides one-year structured mentoring program to young people who are interested in creating their own NGO to address a problem, inequity and injustice. During one-year mentoring, YES staff assists young people in creating an effective youth-led NGO. We provide professional support for the establishment of a youth-led CBO/NGO. Our services include:

• Reality check (Are you a social entrepreneur?)
• Identifying your vision, mission, goals, strategies, etc.
• Identifying the real problems and needs
• Planning
• Implementation
• Monitoring and evaluation
• Building good structures
• Getting legal status
• Building good back-up services
• Managing and finding the money (Based on the uniqueness of the idea, YES may provide a start-up grant to the young people)
• Building sustainability
• Building capacity
• Need assessment
• Communications
