Guide to Build a Youth Service Network

Application Package

For CBOs/NGOs/institutions/individuals interested in becoming a Youth Service Network Managing Representative

If you are a CBO/NGO/group of interested individuals in service programs, you can join us in our efforts to promote and develop local institution/hubs for YES Network Pakistan in your area/location/institution. In order to join us you need to do the following:

  • Send us an expression of interest (in which you commit that you would like to facilitate YES Network Pakistan program in your area for at least one year).

  • Establish a management team of likeminded individuals to identify, train, engage, motivate, monitor and coordinate the activities of youth service volunteers.

  • Establish at least one Youth Service Network. Youth Service Network is a body of not less than 5 or more than 15 young service volunteers at grassroots level. You can establish more than one Youth Service Network in your area depending upon the interest of young people and your (Management Team) time and commitment.

  • Organize an election ceremony for the election of a Youth Service Network Leader.

  • Facilitate Youth Service Network members in undertaking the following:
    1) We would encourage you to start by developing a capacity inventory list of all the skills, knowledge, contacts and resources available within the Youth Service Network and Management Committee as well as in the target community.
    2) Identification of problems.
    3) Prioritization of problems.
    4) Developing personal and community plan of action.
    5) Execution of the plan.

  • Develop a mechanism for the continuous encouragement and appreciation of youth service volunteers.

  • Be the success advocates of youth service volunteers within and outside the community.


  • Continuously monitor the activities of youth service volunteers for quality improvement.


  • Record all the minutes of the Youth Service Network meetings.


  • Document and share activities of youth service volunteers with YES Network Pakistan's HQ on regular basis.


  • Inform YES Network Pakistan's HQ of all the latest developments and future plans regarding youth service volunteers activities.


  • YES Network Pakistan Managing Representative and his or her team will not involve in violent or illegal action, or in any action against a person or group on the basis of age, gender, race, nationality, origin, religion, sexual orientation, or physical or mental ability.

  • If any Youth Service Network Managing Representative is found working against the goals of the YES Network Pakistan, the CEO of YES Network Pakistan will have the right to cease his or her membership in consultation with YES Network Pakistan's Governing Body.
